The choice of gateway depends on the size of the stable and how many sensors you need to cover. For example, if your stable is modern and made of metal, we recommend the larger model for better coverage. If the stable is smaller or made of different materials, the smaller model should be sufficient. If you choose the wrong model, we can easily exchange it for the correct one and only charge you for the price difference. We are happy to help you choose the right gateway based on your specific needs.
The number of sensors depends on the size of the stable and the specific areas you want to monitor. For temperature and humidity, we recommend one sensor per 30 m². We can also help you map out your stable and provide recommendations based on your needs to ensure you get the right number of sensors.
A hub in StableSafe is a central unit (included in all our packages) that collects data from various sensors and devices in the stable or barn. It forwards the information to the StableSafe system, where it can be analyzed and used to monitor temperature, humidity, motion, and other important factors. The hub ensures a stable and secure connection for all connected devices within the network.
